GRNLO StoneHome 12 cm

With the 12 cm long Stone Home you can either offer a home to a smaller crayfish of the genus Procambarus or Cherax or also dwarf crayfish of the genus Cambarellus, or of course also to a small to medium-sized crab in an aquaterrarium or terrarium. This stone-like hiding place also provides a nice cave for a catfish, and smaller Apistogramma can use the Stone Home as a spawning cave.

The dark brown ceramic cave looks like a stone straight from nature thanks to its irregular shape , it is a wonderful addition to any naturalistic aquarium setup. The Stone Home 12 cm has a generous opening as an entrance and is flattened on one side for better stability.

Terracotta behaves neutrally in aquarium water and does not harden the water. So you can use the hiding place without pre-watering! The terracotta material from which the cave-shaped Stone Home is made provides a perfect settlement area for filter bacteria. They contribute to the breakdown of pollutants in the aquarium and thus ensure improved water quality. Shrimps, catfish, aquarium snails and even crayfish love to eat the bacterial deposits, which are a very natural food for them.

The Stone Home in the aquarium looks even more natural if you use some moss or a nice small perching plant to green it. The plants are simply tied on or attached with plant glue.
