It provides protection from curious imd intrusive co-inhabitants and it also serves for stress-free removal of crayfish, shrimp, crabs or fan shrimp from the aquarium thanks to the closed bottom and back shape. Simply wait until they are sitting in the cave and then carefully remove them from the aquarium along with the water inside.

The Crusta Home can be planted very well with mosses using special plant glue or even cyanoacrylate superglue - thanks to the waffled surface, aquatic mosses grow particularly well here. Tying on aquarium mosses would also be an option. With greening, the small cave blends in very naturally in the planted aquarium.

This cave made of fired ceramics is a unique settlement area for biofilms, in which bacteria sit, which recycle the organic pollutants in the aquarium water and which also serve as food for shrimps, crabs and shrimps.
