With Athena vase you can give your aquarium an antique touch. Here you have the choice between two different variants - once a very real-looking amphora, which seems to be stuck in the bottom at an angle, and once an amphora of the same shape, which has two more large side openings as entrances. It is always an advantage for crayfish if they not only find many hiding places in the aquarium, but if these hiding places allow evasion through several entrances - this reduces stress.

Athena vase is equipped with lovely details that make it look very beautiful and atmospheric in the aquarium. Freshly skinned crayfish or shrimp will find a nice hiding place here, young animals and pregnant females can retreat a bit from their conspecifics here.

The vase made of fired dark brown ceramic looks in the aquarium like fresh from the excavation site, it offers a fabulous sight, just by the fact that it looks like half buried in the ground. Its porous surface provides settlement space for useful biofilms, which not only make excellent shrimp food, but can also help improve water quality. Among other things, bacteria that help break down pollutants in the water settle here.

Of course, Athena Vase also fits perfectly in aqua-terrariums with small crab species, which also like to use hiding caves.
