The basis for the composition of this crayfish food is based on scientific studies and research, as well as the experience of our long-time cherax breeders. NatureHolic Cheraxfeed Adult provides your adult Papuan shearwaters with everything they need, providing them with highly digestible plant-based proteins, minerals, nutrients and vitamins. NatureHolic Cheraxfeed Adult is naturally free of fish meal and low-quality animal meal.
The soft sticks can hold the Cherax well in their feeding tools and push quite elegantly, almost like a spaghetti noodle. This minimizes water exposure while feeding.
Adult cherax from Papua are known to develop moulting problems if fed inappropriately, which can lead to death, so the composition of their diet is of eminent importance. We use insects, protein rich plant and crustaceans as protein sources. As a fat source we use high quality salmon oil, which at the same time provides valuable astaxanthin, which can help cherax with coloration and immune system function. Foliage, plant extracts and microorganisms round out the formula. To meet mineral needs, we use only organic mineral sources. Natural beta glucans and mannan-oligosaccharides serve as immune stimulants and health enhancers in this feed.
NatureHolic Cheraxfeed Adult positively affects the growth, carapace formation, reproductive ability and vitality of Papuan cherax crayfish.
For our premium food we deliberately avoid low-quality animal meal and cheap fish meal. Cheraxfeed Adult contains high quality protein, from insects and vegetable sources. In addition, nutritionally beneficial chitin, which helps the cherax crayfish to build up their shell, as well as the moulting hormone and growth hormone ecdysone, which can support them in the moulting process.
Feeding recommendation:
Feed 1-2 times daily as much as the animals will consume in a few minutes. Feed sparingly, usually 1-3 sticks per crab is sufficient depending on the size of the crabs.
