Bug Bites - Color enhancing food - 45g

To ensure that your fish feel as comfortable in the aquarium as they do in their actual habitats, they should be fed appropriately natural foods. Bug Bites color-enhancing food sets a new standard in fish feeding because it has a similar nutrient profile to the food that animals eat in the wild. Insects, in particular, play a major role in fish nutrition. This is why BugBites uses the larvae of the black soldier fly (Hermetia illuscens), which have long been known for their highly nutritious properties and are therefore the main ingredient in Bug Bites feed.

Bred under controlled conditions, the larvae are sustainably raised and richly fed- with fruits and vegetables that are no longer suitable for human consumption and would usually end up in the trash- which in turn produce such essential proteins and fats. BugBites makes an important statement in terms of sustainability and kills two birds with one stone - the result: a SuperFood! The larvae grow for about two weeks and are then gently dried and mixed with other high-quality protein sources from salmon. Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids thus support healthy skin, scales, fins and provides vibrant colors.

Important vitamins, minerals, nutrients and amino acids round out this tasty fish food. Artificial colorants or preservatives are not added to BugBites. The well-balanced and nutritious food is ideal for fish in sizes M-L. The granules have a grain size of 1.4-2 mm and are therefore suitable for almost any snout. The excellent nutrient profile also ensures better digestibility for the fish, so that the water values are not unnecessarily burdened. The granules sink slowly and can thus be easily "captured" by the fish.
