Crocos skeleton - aquarium hiding place

Eerily beautiful and downright prehistoric flair gives the Crocoskelett your aquarium. This great skull is not only a really cool eye-catcher, but also offers your pets cover and retreat in one. In addition, the Croco skull represents a huge surface, on which especially useful microorganisms can be found. These contribute by their activity among other things to the pollutant dismantling in the aquarium and serve besides invertebrates as pasture surface.

The Crocoskeleton is water neutral and completely harmless for use in the aquarium. It is made of polyresin, a synthetic resin. Therefore, the water values are not changed, because the skull does not release anything into the water. Also with our other cool decorations, which you can find in the store, you can conjure up an ancient underwater adventure in no time, which invites you to tell stories. Combine different aquatic plants and earn appreciative looks!

With small perching plants such as Anubias, Bucephalandra or even mosses, the Crocoskeleton can be beautified and greened, so it gets its very own touch. The small plants simply continue to grow on the Croco head  and can be trimmed every now and then. Before first use, we recommend rinsing the Croco skeleton to remove any transport debris. Even after it has been in the aquarium for a while, you should lift the skull every now and then and remove any mulm that has formed underneath it so that no gamma spots form in the aquarium. Also the decoration should be cleaned from time to time, for this purpose already lukewarm water and a rubbing with the fingers are sufficient.

Tip: You will get an eerily beautiful sight if you lead an air hose into the skull and connect it with a small membrane pump. This makes the skull bubble and at the same time flushes out any debris deposited in it. Besides, the aquarium water is also enriched with essential oxygen.
