With the rearing food Natureholic© Cheraxfeed Junior we have a special food for subadult and juvenile Cherax crayfish from Papua. Studies and research have shown that juvenile cherax from Papua eat completely different things in their biotopes than adult cherax. Our NatureHolic Cheraxfeed Junior is based on these scientific studies and investigations and of course also on the many years of experience of our Cherax breeders. NatureHolic Cheraxfeed Junior provides your growing Papuan crayfish with everything they need to grow up healthy, show good colors and be well taken care of all around. NatureHolic Cheraxfeed Junior is of course free of fish meal and other cheap, low quality animal meal.

The shape of the small soft pellets in NatureHolic Cheraxfeed Junior can be easily grabbed and utilized by smaller juvenile crayfish. The mini pellets can optimally hold the juvenile cherax in their feeding tools. The consistency ensures reduced water pollution during feeding.

For our special food Natureholic Cheraxfeed Junior we have investigated exactly what growing cherax crayfish from Papua eat in nature. It turned out that the young animals feed mainly on - insect larvae, zooplankton and smaller crustaceans.

Adult Cherax from Papua can get moulting problems if not fed properly, which can lead to their death - this food is therefore only suitable as a rearing food for young animals in the growth phase.

As animal protein suppliers we use insects and Gammarus, the slightly lower proportion of vegetable protein comes from Spirulina and Moringa. To cover the mineral requirements of young cherax we rely on our proven NH Mineral Mix. This feed has an increased mineral content compared to NatureHolic Cheraxfeed Adult to ensure the small growing crayfish always have enough minerals for the many molts they have to go through. Aronia provides vitamins and antioxidants, and natural beta glucans and mannan oligosaccharides boost the immune system of the little cherax crayfish and may improve their health.

NatureHolic Cheraxfeed Junior may have a positive effect on the growth, carapace formation, colors and vitality of juvenile Papuan cherax crayfish.

We deliberately avoid cheap animal meal and fish meal for this premium feed. The high quality protein in Cheraxfeed Junior comes exclusively from invertebrates, microorganisms and from plant sources. The processed feed animals bring nutritionally beneficial chitin that helps the growing cherax crayfish build their shell, as well as the molting hormone and growth hormone ecdysone, which can also help them in the molting process.

Feeding recommendation:
Feed 1-2 times daily as much as the animals will consume in a few minutes. Feed sparingly, usually 1-3 pellets per crab is sufficient depending on the size of the crab.
