It is very important for the stress-prone shrimps that they find sufficient hiding places in the aquarium. Also for small dwarf crayfish a hiding place can be life-saving. These ceramic tubes made of high quality material, elaborately handcrafted, are not only visually beautiful, they also offer the animals a place of refuge, which they need so much. If you want to conceal the tubes a bit, you can plant them with moss or a thin layer of moss ball - for this purpose, the plants are simply glued on with cyanoacrylate-based superglue or tied on with a sturdy thread. - Garnelio

Beschreibung

The 3er shrimp house is handmade from fired clay in Germany. It is wonderfully suitable as a shelter for shrimp and their offspring, as well as for small dwarf crayfish.

Shrimp and dwarf crayfish also need periods of rest. Especially directly after a moult they like to find a place where they are undisturbed. Our shrimp houses are also a good hiding place for females that are too harassed by the males, egg-bearing females or for young animals and offer them a safe retreat.

The slightly rough surface of the ceramic with its beautiful structure offers the good, pollutant-degrading bacteria a great surface on which they can settle ideally. Thus, the shrimp house contributes to good water quality.

To let the shrimp house "disappear" a bit in the aquarium, it can be planted well with moss, which thanks to the rough surface can get a good foothold and grows quickly.
