NatureHolic - N Booster - liquid nitrate aquarium fertilizer

As a liquid aquarium fertilizer for aquascaping and for all planted aqu ariums, the phosphate-free NatureHolic Nitrate Booster with immediate effect provides the plants with the important macronutrient nitrogen (N) in the form of nitrate (NO3), which they need for healthy growth.

A lack of nitrate can be recognized in aquatic plants in the aquarium by slow growth and unusually small leaves. When there is a nitrate def iciency and nutrient gaps in the aquarium, algae plagues often develop. Typical in case of nitrogen deficiency are also masses of filamentous algae or furry algae.

The NatureHolic Nitrate Booster nitrate fertilizer for the aquarium allows the plants new healthy growth, they can then form their new leaves again in its entirety. The leaf tissue becomes stronger again, the growth vital, the colors more brilliant. The nutrients in the Nitrate Booster, like all NatureHolic Aquascaping fertilizers, are absolutely safe for fish, shrimp and all other invertebrates in the aquarium when dosed correctly. The nutrients in NatureHolic Nitrate Booster Aquascaping Fertilizer are formulated so that aquarium plants easily absorb them from the water through their leaves.

Dosage: NatureHolic Nitrate Booster is best dosed as a daily fertilizer, so that the plants always have a constant amount of the important nutrient NO3 available. In addition to nitrogen, the fertilizer also brings some potassium and magnesium. The target value for nitrate in the aquarium with aquatic plants is 13-20 mg/l. At this concentration, the risk of skinning problems in shrimp and crayfish is extremely low.

Aquariums with strong light and with CO2 fertilization receive 2 ml of Nitrate Booster per 100 liters per day, without CO2 supply 0.5 ml. Aquariums with medium strong light with CO2 fertil ization receive 1 ml, without CO2 supply 0.25 ml. Low light aquariums do well with CO2 fertilization with 0.5 ml, without CO2 supply with 0.1 ml Nitrate Booster.

Please note: The above dosage recommendations are only guidelines, adjust up or down depending on individual aquarium needs. To monitor the nitrate level in the aquarium, we recommend an aquaristic water test. If the NO3 value increases too much, the amount of fertilizer must be reduced accordingly. We recommend a weekly partial water change of approx. 25-70% in the aquarium. This prevents nutrient peaks in the aquarium water, which would promote algae formation.
