GRNLO Ninja Star Shelter - 4cm

The five-pointed Ninja Star Shelter made of terracotta is a great piece of aquarium decoration and a real eye-catcher! For shrimp or dwarf crabs, but also for smaller crabs, the slightly rough surface is a great playground on which they can climb around and from which they can graze on biofilms that form. At the same time, beneficial bacteria settle in these biofilms and take care of breaking down organic pollutants in the aquarium water. Several shelters can be placed stably on top of each other as a stack for even more variety.

Basically, hiding places are useful for egg-bearing female shrimp and for freshly skinned dwarf shrimp in the aquarium. Crabs and shrimps live rather hidden in nature anyway and are therefore also grateful for a place in the aquarium where they can find protection.

In the hole of the shelter you can perfectly put a small remaining Anubias or a Bucephalandra to present them so attractively. Especially for collectors with many different Bucephalandra species it is important to cultivate the species separately - with the Ninja Stern Shelter this is very easy! If you turn the shelter upside down, it becomes an attractive flower pot for moss, freshwater kelp or riccia, for example.

The ceramic material is absolutely water neutral and does not harden. You can therefore use the Ninja Stern Shelter in an aquarium with soft water without hesitation.
