JBL Algol 100ml

Algae can be combated most effectively with JBL Algol. The product is compatible with shrimps and other invertebrates and works without copper. In combination with PhosEx ultra, which we also carry in our store, the subject of algae will soon be history. - Garnelio

Beschreibung

Algae can be combated quickly and safely in freshwater aquariums with JBL Algol. The product gets to grips with all types of green algae and also removes green water. Algol is preferably used in the morning when the pH value in the tank is still low. A 30% partial water change is recommended before the algae cure.

With JBL PhosEx ultra the dissolved nutrients can be easily and simply removed from the water afterwards, they are simply removed during the partial water change. To keep algae permanently in check, algae eaters such as loricariids, racing snails or Amano shrimps are also recommended.

Because the product is copper-free, it can also be used without hesitation in invertebrate aquariums. We recommend increasing the oxygen supply in the aquarium during the cure. This is most likely to be achieved by using outflow stones, but also by using oxydators or a Twinstar.

Question from: "Auf der Rückseite steht dass Garnelen algol nicht vertragen. Ich wollte fragen ob sie damit Erfahrung haben und ob man es tatsächlich verwenden kann oder man es liebe lassen sollte. Ich habe blue velvet Garnelen und möchte zwar die Algen los werden aber keinesfalls die Tiere verletzen oder töten. Über eine Rückmeldung würde ich mich sehr freuen"

Beim JBL Algol sind negative Auswirkungen auf Süßwassergarnelen, vor allem empfindlichere Zwerggarnelen nicht ausschließbar.

Es könnte helfen, die Beleuchtungsdauer auf 6 Stunden herunter zu fahren, die Intensität außerdem erst zu steigern, beginne möglichst bei 40 %, wenn möglich. Helfen könnten dir ebenso Pinselalgenschencken, Otocinclus, Amanogarnelen und Rennschnecken.
