Mussels are filter feeders that constantly pump water through their bodies and need a lot of energy to do so. In our aquariums the water is usually quite clean thanks to filtration, but even in unfiltered tanks the suspended matter content in the aquarium water is often not high enough, or the energy density of the suspended matter is too low for the mussels. Many mussels, especially larger ones, quickly suffer from malnutrition without suitable, targeted supplementary feeding, which can cause them to deteriorate and even die sooner or later.

With the special liquid food for all aquarium mussels Natureholic Clam Booster, an optimal particle density for mussels can be created in the aquarium in no time at all. Clam Booster has the right nutrient density for mussels and, thanks to its high-quality ingredients, supports the growth and shell structure of the shellfish in the aquarium. Clam Booster distributes itself evenly in the water immediately after addition and forms a microfine food cloud, which can be optimally filtered out by the mussels. The formation of the important microfauna in the aquarium is also promoted to the maximum by this valuable nutrient rain.

Please switch off the filter (if present) briefly directly after addition and wait until the water is clear again before switching on.
