JBL - Floaty mini acrylic glass

With the new Floaty mini acrylic glass from JBL you can now easily and safely clean their acrylic glass aquariums. Thanks to the specially for the acrylic glass aligned surface structure and the floating inner part you prevent deep and ugly scratches when cleaning.

To begin, detach the outer and inner parts from each other. Now place the inner element with the sponge side on the water surface. Make sure that it is close to the glass. If necessary, you can also hold it at the beginning, should it drift away because of a flow pump. Now hold the outer element against the glass. The two magnets attract each other and now stick directly to the pane and your Floaty is ready for use.

Attention: The Floaty mini acrylic glass is only designed for panes up to a maximum thickness of 4 mm. If the panes are thicker, it could be that the two magnets do not have enough strength to hold on and ensure thorough cleaning.

Now start with light circular, slow movements to loosen the deposits and coatings from the discs. If you now want to switch to another disc, you can simply glide slowly over the outer corner thanks to the patented edge protection and the inner element follows the outer magnet thanks to the flattened edges. By the way, these also protect your silicone seams and thus increase their service life. By the way: due to the special shape of the sponge, you can also easily reach hard-to-reach places, such as the filter system or flow pump. Simply pull the Floaty carefully in the desired direction.

In addition to removing internal deposits, the outer magnet polishes away fingerprints and water spots , so you always have a crystal clear view into your aquarium.

Should the magnets ever come loose, the buoyant inner element will float directly to the water surface and you can connect it to the outer element as usual. This prevents stones from the substrate from collecting between the magnets and leaving scratches in the panes that cloud your field of vision.

Tip: The JBL Floaty mini acrylic glass is also suitable for marine aquariums . After use, however, you should pull the magnets apart, rinse them thoroughly under fresh water and let them dry separately   .
