The flowers of meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria) are a well-known remedy, the buds and flowers contain salicylic acid, the active ingredient of willow bark. Salicylic acid can act against filamentous algae and has anti-inflammatory properties. Our cut meadowsweet flowers are gently dried and are full of minerals and trace elements. Garnelio meadowsweet flowers do not contain any additives, they are an untreated natural product.

Ideally, give once or twice a week as much as is eaten within a few hours. To keep the flowers down, they can be put in a small piece of air tube, clay tube, ceramic tube, etc. The fine flower tissue is eaten very readily and is well accepted.
