Bug Bites - Color enhancing food - 125g

To ensure that your animals feel as comfortable in the aquarium as they do in the habitats from which they originate, they should also be fed similarly. With the BugBites color-enhancing food, a completely new standard in ornamental fish feeding has therefore been pursued and offers a food with a similar nutrient profile as your darlings would find in nature. The larva of the already known soldier fly, Hermetia illuscens, is used for this purpose. It has already been positively noticed in several studies due to its high protein content and is therefore the main ingredient of the BugBites feed.

Fruits and vegetables that are no longer suitable for human consumption  and would otherwise have ended up in the garbage can, are the main food with which the larvae are raised under controlled conditions. Sustainable production is therefore top of the agenda. And so BugBites feed production kills two birds with one stone. The larvae are fed for fourteen days and then gently dried and mixed with other minerals and salmon, among other things. This gives them an ideal protein and omega fatty acid ratio that supports healthy growth and gorgeous colors.

Essential amino acids, minerals and vitamins make the color-enhancing food from BugBites a well-rounded product. No artificial aids, preservatives or attractants are explicitly used. For fish in the size M-L the granulated food with a grain size with 1.4-2 millimeters is exactly suitable. In addition, it can also be ground with the fingers. The high biological value also optimizes digestibility, so that the water values are not unnecessarily burdened.

The practical zip bag can be closed again airtight after feeding and thus increases the shelf life. Feed only as much as your animals will eat in 5 minutes and remove leftover food so that it does not start to rot on the ground.
