ADA - Bacter 100

The bacteria preparation ADA Bacter 100 from Aqua Design Amano is a classic bacteria starter for the aquarium. In powder form, Bacter 100 contains more than 100 different species of bacteria in the dormant stage. With Bacter 100 you directly introduce many useful filter bacteria into the aquarium.

With the microorganisms from ADA Bacter 100 it is easy to create optimal conditions in the substrate as well as in the aquarium water. This stabilizes the aquarium biology, and the ecosystem within the aquascape becomes very resilient.

Not only in the filter, but especially in the substrate, these pollutant recyclers play an important role - they convert organic waste materials in the aquarium so that the aquatic plants can absorb them through the roots and their leaves. A well-interlocked, smoothly functioning bacterial flora can even reduce the amount of mulm that accumulates in the aquarium. Especially in aquascaping this effect is very desirable.

ADA Bacter 100 is a light-colored powder that is sprinkled on the glass pane as a bottom layer in the substrate setup according to Takashi Amano when setting up the aquarium. In this way, a well-functioning environment is created in the bottom of the aquarium from the very first day. If necessary, the powder can be added directly to the water or sprinkled on the water surface to inoculate the filter.
