ADA - Bacter Ball

ADA Bacter Ball is made from the bacteria preparation ADA Bacter 100 from Aqua Design Amano. For this purpose, the light-colored powder with more than 100 different species of bacteria is pressed into a ball shape when at rest. The Bacter Balls from ADA can be added to the filter or simply placed on the bottom of the aquarium. In the aquascape, it is best to choose a slightly less prominent place for them.

Fish and shrimp in the aquarium can eat their natural food here - many aquatic animals feed on bacteria in nature. Placed in the filter, ADA Bacter Ball works like a  classic bacteria starter for the aquarium. Thus, many useful filter bacteria enter the aquarium filter directly and can start their work there immediately.

With the bacteria from ADA's Bacter Balls, the best conditions in the aquarium can easily be created. The useful microorganisms migrate into the substrate and also into the aquarium water. Here they form a stable ecosystem, mineralize pollutants and make them available to the plants as nutrients in a form that is easy to absorb.

ADA Bacter Ball stabilizes the ecosystem in the aquascape or in the aquarium in general and ensures a smooth aquarium biology. The Bacter Ball decomposes slowly and gradually releases the bacteria.

A well-functioning bacterial flora even reduces the amount of mulm that accumulates in the aquarium like this - this is especially important in an attractive aquascape.
