TWINSTAR - Yotta

The Twinstar Yotta reduces fish diseases in freshwater aquariums simply and effectively. By means of a computer-controlled electrode, which is fixed inside the aquarium, fungi and pathogenic bacteria are suppressed. The Yotta / Yotta+ sterilization process is particularly suitable for new arrivals, but also for wild-caught animals and for quarantine. It also has a longer and more intensive effect than the conventional application with UV light. Especially shrimp farms benefit from the reduced germ pressure and show higher breeding success.

The intelligent algorhythm of the Twinstar Yotta adapts to the aquarium and switches itself on and off independently. Among other things, it clarifies the water, which becomes crystal clear again. The well-being and vitality of the aquarium's inhabitants is also significantly increased.  The use of the Twinstar sterilizer does not change the biology of the tank and has no influence on the biological balance. Also it does not refer to plant fertilizers and does not precipitate or oxidize them. Sessile bacteria and aquatic plants are not affected. However, mold spores and other bacteria, which are often the trigger of various fish diseases in freshwater aquariums, are actively suppressed, and combined use with medications is also possible.

The sterilizing effect has been carried out and optimized in several tests on E. coli and other fish diseases in cooperation with the National Fisheries Institute for Research and Development in Korea:

The effect has been tested on Edwardsiella tarda (Edward disease), Herpes virus, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Columnaris (mouth mold), and Saprolegnia (fish mold), among others.

The Twinstar was successfully tested for these:

- Lagenidium (fungal disease)
- Haliphtoros (fungal disease)
- Halocrusticidae (fungal disease)
- White spot disease (bacterial infection)

The Twinstar Yotta is suitable for aquariums from 50-200 liters.
