The stainless steel grid is rustproof and is ideal for use under water. To fix offshoots you can simply glue them with our plant glue or tie them with a string. The moss will grow together with the plate after some time and form a dense stand.

On the mosses, but also on the stainless steel grid, a biofilm of microorganisms forms after some time. These break down organic pollution and pollutants in the water and thus contribute to improving the water quality.
