aus über 3.000 Bewertungen »With the Acid Buffer from SEACHEM, the pH value in the aquarium can be regulated between 5.0 and 8.0. Therefore, it is particularly suitable in planted aquariums. The Acid Buffer is a non-phosphate buffer for lowering the pH value in combination with the Alkaline Buffer. Both products are designed for planted aquariums but also very hard water where a phosphate buffer could cause an algae or turbidity problem.
Choose from these quantities: 300 or 600 g.
Acid Buffer lowers pH and buffers pH between 6.0 and 8.0 when used simultaneously with Alkaline Buffer. When lowered with Acid Buffer, carbonate hardness is simultaneously converted to available CO2.
Use: To gradually lower pH, stir ¼ tsp to 80 liters of water daily until desired pH is reached- this dose lowers acidity by 0.6 dKH/l. In very hard water or high KH levels, larger doses may be required.
