Scape Decor - Easter Island Moai Statue

With the Moai statue you can bring the Easter Islands to life in your aquarium! The cute statue will also be used by your shrimp to climb and romp around, so you will see it very often. Thanks to the increased surface area of the statue, a biofilm is also formed on it, which consists of beneficial microorganisms. These denitrifying bacteria contribute to the breakdown of pollutants and thus to improved water quality. Your pets will also love to nibble them down.

The water values are not affected by the Moai statue, because it is made of waterproof polyresin (PU) and has been decorated to be abrasion-resistant. Before use, however, it should still be rinsed under clear water to remove transport-related abrasion. To clean the great statue use maximum lukewarm water  and rub the while using your fingers. Lift the statue from time to time and vacuum the substrate underneath to remove mulm and other debris

Tip: By the way, the Moai statue looks really cool if you stick"hairs" on the top of it with Java moss or similar moss. These simply continue to grow on the statue and can now and then be brought into shape with scissors.
