Protein Wafers - For Crayfish & Shrimp - 30g

During growth, but also during reproduction, invertebrates such as dwarf shrimp and crayfish have an increased protein requirement. But also species like large arm shrimp. Amano shr imps or Caridina mariae need more animal protein than others. However, our protein wafers are also perfectly suited for feeding crayfish, because they have a finely tuned protein content. This prevents moulting and growth problems caused by excessive protein intake.

The most common reason for stagnant reproduction is often the development of the eggs. The eggs are dependent on the phospholipid lecithin and nucleic acids, which is why the wafers contain brewer's yeast extract. The other proteins also come solely from insects and microorganisms such as bacteria and yeasts. Insects in particular contain nutritionally valuable chitin, which invertebrates need to build up a stable shell.  They also contain the moulting and growth hormone ecdysone, which has a beneficial effect on growth and reproduction.

Special trace elements  contain bioavailable mineral compounds that the animal organism can use as additional building material. Valuable Montmorillont, a layered silicate with the ability to absorb pollutants and pathogenic germs, has a positive influence on the intestinal flora.

Feeding recommendation: The protein wafers are water- and form-stable and can be dosed very well. We recommend one wafer for 15 shrimps or per crab.
