Lichens grow on natural tree branches and are a wonderful source of food in the aquarium, which shrimp, aquarium snails, crayfish and catfish love to eat. Valuable microorganisms are formed here, and the lichens and mosses provide important dietary fiber and decompose very slowly, even underwater. In addition to minerals and important trace elements, the wood and bark of the nibbling branches contain a low concentration of tannins, which ensure optimal aquarium water for invertebrates and fish.

It takes about four months for the animals to graze the lichens and mosses from the tree branches - in addition to nibbling fun for your aquarium inhabitants, the branches also provide a distinctly attractive, very natural sight in your aquarium underwater landscape.
