Minishelter - shrimp hiding place ( 2 cm )

The Minishelter is a cave open on both narrow sides, which due to its small size is ideal for dwarf crayfish or of course for dwarf shrimp. Thanks to its rough surface, the Minishelter is also ideal for planting moss or moss ball algae. Optimally, these plants can be attached to the small cave with superglue or a special plant glue for aquarium plants or simply tied on with a nylon thread.

The mini-shelter is modeled in real handwork in Germany from high quality natural clay . Then the caves are fired at high temperatures in the kiln, making them water stable.

On the slightly porous surface, an incredibly large number of beneficial microorganisms can attach themselves in biofilms, which then ensure that pollutants are broken down from the water. Thus, a decorative object made of terracotta can even help improve water quality.
