In addition, 5% spirulina algae and 20% stinging nettle contribute to a nutritious diet, which the shrimps love to eat and are highly favored in invertebrate circles. JBL has put this knowledge into practice and added 20 % stinging nettle to the recipe of JBL NovoPrawn. Some well-known breeders of dwarf shrimps have been able to visibly optimize the colors of their breeding by using the mix of 5 % spirulina and now 20 % stinging nettle.

Thanks to the balanced phosphate content, NovoPrawn is also more digestible, resulting in less water pollution and less algae growth. NovoPrawn can also be used for the Click can and also has a high cellusose content, which according to scientific findings is necessary to build up the chitin carapace. The vegetable-based staple food also promotes color development in red, blue and multicolored shrimp amazingly well.
