GRNLO - Smurfshood

Fun GRNLO Smurfshood hiding cave is ideal for all invertebrates such as smaller cherax, procambarus and other crayfish, dwarf crayfish and shrimp, filter-feeding shrimp and large-armed shrimp and smaller catfish or South American dwarf cichlids in the aquarium and crabs in the terrarium. The funny mushroom house with one door and two windows looks a bit like a cozy house from Smurf's house. The diameter of the cave entrance is 3.5 x 2.5 cm.

The natural ceramic of the Smurfshood hiding place is open-pored and thus offers filter bacteria and other useful biofilms a correspondingly huge surface area to settle on - an important function for better water quality in the aquarium. Biofilms are also readily grazed by shrimps, snails, catfish and also by crayfish.

You could of course plant the Smurfshood Hideaway with mosses or Anubias nana, Bucephalandra or other small permanent perching plants, but it would be a bit of a shame to hide the funny house under plants.

The Smurfshood hiding place closed at the back is an ideal breeding cave for smaller catfish or South American dwarf cichlids and a great hiding place for crayfish, dwarf shrimp, fan shrimp, large arm shrimp in the aquarium and also for smaller crabs in the terrarium.
