The Shrimp Cube also allows you to beautifully display your prized bucephalandra, rare mosses or other perching plants such as ferns or anubias. Planted aquarium decorations have the great advantage in the breeding tank that they can be removed when the shrimp need to be selected.
The ceramic cube has a slightly rough, somewhat porous surface and does not harden the aquarium water. Biofilms, which contain bacteria important for water quality, quickly settle on the cube. Pollutants are broken down here and, in addition, shrimp and crayfish can help themselves to these so-called biofilms - a completely natural food source, just like in a biotope.
