GRNLO - High quality CO2 continuous test

The high-quality CO2 continuous test from GRNLO is ideal for use in aquascapes, but also in planted aquariums that are fertilized with CO2. It serves as a permanent indicator for the correct amount of dissolved carbon in the water and shows this with the help of an indicator liquid (not included) by color change.

The curved glass body of the permanent test is fixed in the aquarium with the suction cup. Beforehand, it was filled with a drop of indicator solution and half with aquarium water. It is important not to fill the glass completely. The test reagent works by means of the CO2 diffused in the water, which reacts via the remaining oxygen and triggers a color change.

If the solution shows blue, there is too little CO2 in the water, green stands for optimal and yellow for too much. Depending on the result, the CO2 supply can be adjusted and corrected via the fine needle valve of the pressure reducer. To adjust the bubble supply correctly, it is recommended to wait about 2-3 hours after each change.
