Garnelio seaweed meal consists of the finely ground algae Ascophyllom nodosum. It is rich in fiber, minerals and trace elements and contains, among other things, iodine, which is vital not only for shrimp. Our Garnelio seaweed meal is a pure natural product and consists of 100% dried seaweed.
Thanks to its extraordinarily rich ingredients, seaweed meal is perfectly suited for feeding plankton-eating invertebrates. These include filter-feeding snails such as Brotia, Taia, Viviparus, Filopaludina and others, fan shrimp and, of course, mussels.
But also as a dust food for dwarf shrimps and as a component of a homemade feed Ascophyllum nodosum is extremely popular and very valuable for the health of the animals.
The high iodine content of the seaweed can have a positive effect on the vitality and reproduction of invertebrates. The moulting process is positively supported.
Feed 1-2 times a week a pinch.
