Garnelio - Rose petals (Rosae rubrae) whole - 10 g

The petals of the rose (Rosae rubrae) are a tasty aromatic feed, which contains vitamins, minerals and a very small amount of valuable essential oils. They can have harmonizing and calming effects. The delicate petals of roses are carefully selected and then gently dried. Garnelio rose petals from controlled cultivation are free of additives and remain untreated as a pure natural product.

Feed one rose petal per crab or per 10 shrimp per week, remove uneaten remains after a few hours. Initially the petals will float up - with shrimp and snails you can just let them float , the shrimp or snails will sit on them from below and pick at the petals. Another option would be to pour hot water over the rose petals very briefly, and they will sink immediately. Do not leave them in the water, the petals would disintegrate. Alternatively, you can put them in a ceramic roll, clay ring or something similar to weigh them down. The delicate tissue of the petals is well accepted and gladly eaten.
