Columns ornament antique - 14cm

In the aquarium, decorations serve not only the sight, if they are lovingly draped, they also function perfectly as a retreat and even as a privacy screen. By introducing various decorative objects, as with our column ornament "Antique", additional surfaces are created, on the tops of which microorganisms in particular, the good cleaning bacteria, can settle and multiply excellently and make an essential contribution to maintaining water quality, as they effectively help to break down pollutants. Especially invertebrates like to nibble down this biofilm.

The column ornament "Antique" is made of polyresin, which is completely harmless and can be used in the aquarium. The special synthetic resin does not affect the water values. So you can create an antique fairy tale world in no time, which will attract everyone's attention. With other decorations that we carry in the store, you can perfect your idea of the Roman Empire. Or will it be a trip to ancient Greece after all?

Rinse the ornament before placing it in the aquarium for the first time to remove transport-related adhesions. Decorate it in place, you can even spice it up by greening it with mosses we offer. To do this, simply glue a bit of our Plant glue on the ornament. The moss will continue to grow on the column and give it a very authentic look.  Also small Anubias or Bucephalandra give the column ornament a very special charm. There are no limits to your imagination!

Tip: Occasionally, you should lift the columnar ornament and vacuum off the mulm that has formed underneath so that no gamma spots form. You should only clean the ornament itself under cold water. Do not use cleaning agents, brushes or hot water, so that the appearance is preserved and no cleaning agents get into the aquarium.
