Amtra - Filter sponge Niagara

The filter sponge Niagara is a replacement filter media for the backpack filter Amtra Niagara, which we also carry in the store. To ensure consistently good water quality, the filter media should always be checked and replaced or cleaned as needed. With the filter sponge from Amtra this is very easy. The porous filter sponge filters coarse debris out of the water. In addition, useful cleaning bacteria settle on its large surface, which also contribute to the breakdown of pollutants and improve the water quality.

Especially when the water outlet noticeably decreases, it is time to act. When cleaning and maintaining the filter meids, however, be careful never to replace or wash them all out at the same time, lest you lose too many of the beneficial bacteria that help break down pollutants.
