In their natural habitats, snails and shrimps feed on algae, bacterial growths and other microorganisms that settle on all kinds of surfaces. With their radula, the mouth tool with which they can optimally scrape off the growth coverings, snails are just as well equipped for this as shrimps with their fine, rake-like scissor legs and their mouth tools, the mandibles. Our AlgaePlate, made from natural seaweed of controlled origin, perfectly meets their food requirements and is not only nutritious and delicious, but also absolutely harmless in the aquarium. Beschreibung

The AlgaePlate algae tablet optimally meets the natural requirements of shrimps and snails for their food, it provides vital nutrients and building materials such as calcium and magnesium, the building material that snails and shrimps need for their house or shell. Furthermore, the AlgaePlate algae tablet contains natural vitamins A, B and C. Special mention should also be made of the content of natural iodine, which plays a prominent role in the molting of crustaceans.

The highly digestible proteins contained in AlgaePlate seaweed ensure a good growth rate for all invertebrates. Also in terms of trace elements, AlgaePlate provides all the necessary micronutrients that play an important role in growth, well-being and health.

Racing snails, ramshorn snails, apple snails and staghorn sn ails benefit particularly from AlgaePlate; it can have a very favorable effect on their health and thus on their lifespan. We have tested this many times in Germany's largest snail facility. The algae for AlgaePlate are harvested by hand and have raw food quality. This is the only way to preserve the quality of all substances! Of course, the harvesting takes place in pollutant-free waters.

Many algae leaves were pressed together from algae waste in a steam pressing process, thereby against important vital substances lost. The recognizable mineral crust on our algae sheets is a sign of quality. We recommend to always have an AlgaePlate in the aquarium, the water quality is not negatively affected. AlgaePlates are also ideal as vacation food, because they hardly pollute the water.

Hallo Daniela, vielen dank fuer deine Frage! Das tut uns Leid zu hoeren, die Platte hat solche Auswirkungen eigentlich nur wenn man sie viel zu lange drin laesst, oder das Becken mitten in der Einfahrphase ist wenn man sie eingibt. Die Platte selbst gibt nichts ans Wasser ab das es trueben koennte. Die Truebung kann nur von Bakterienexplosionen stammen, welche Stunden brauchen um zu entstehen.

Hallo Bettina, vielen Dank für deine Frage! Die Platten sind stabil und lösen sich nicht auf, daher kannst du sie ruhig im Becken lassen bis du merkst, dass niemand mehr an sie herangeht und dann die Reste herausholen.

Question from: "Hallo, mein Wasser ist nach Einsetzen der Algae Plate leicht grünlich trüb geworden und es schweben viele winzige "Staub" Partikel herum. Ist das normal? Sollte ich die Plates lieber entfernen und einen Wasserwechsel machen? "

Hallo Melina, vielen Dank für deine Frage! Es kann immer mal vorkommen, dass sich ein paar Partikel die abgerieben wurden von der Platte lösen. Dies ist vollkommen ungefährlich. Du kannst die Platten kurz abspülen bevor du sie ins Becken gibst um dies zu vermeiden.

Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Naturprodukt, reine Naturprodukte wie Algenplatten und Blätter brauchen immer einige Tage bis sie tatsächlich gefressen werden können. Gib der ganzen Sache Zeit, deine Garnelen werden es dir danken und die Algeaplates lieben <3.
