ADA - Lily Pipe Outflow P-4 - 13 mm

The attractively shaped ADA Lily Pipe P4 from Aqua Design Amano made of crystal clear glass takes its name from its lily shape. As a water outlet for an external filter, it ensures a gentle and very uniform flow in the aquascape thanks to its large curved shape - ideal for the vast majority of aquarium plants, because all water layers are mixed evenly. This ensures that nutrients are evenly transported to the plants and oxygen to the aquarium animals.

The ADA Lily Pipe P4 is designed for open aquariums. The stylish and functional filter outlet is suitable for aquariums of 90 liters capacity and a filter flow rate of 10 liters/minute.

The water inlet of the ADA Lily Pipe P4 is connected to the filter hose so that it is outside the aquarium. The suction cup attached to the ADA Lily Pipe P4 is used to attach it to the glass of the aquarium pane at the desired height. The glass arch of the ADA Lily Pipe P4 lies above the edge of the aquarium so that half of the ADA Lily Pipe is in the water. Thus, the water flows evenly along the water surface in the aquarium. At night, the ADA Lily Pipe P4 is set higher if necessary, so that the water ripples into the aquarium and thus brings in more oxygen.

Each Lily Pipe from ADA has a connection that is one millimeter larger than the inner diameter of the hose, so the connection is slip-proof and watertight. This makes assembly a little tricky, but if you make the end of the filter tube more flexible in hot water and the tube of the ADA Lily Pipe P4 more slippery with a little dishwashing liquid and water, assembly actually goes very smoothly.
