ADA - El-Valve night shut-off solenoid valve incl. 40 W current transformer

With the highly precise ADA EL-Valve solenoid valve, Aqua Design Amano has made the CO2 supply in the aquascape and plant aquarium even more convenient. The solenoid valve can be installed in the hose section of the CO2 high-pressure hoses and thus makes an overnight shut-off possible automatically. For night shut-off, the ADA El-Valve solenoid valve is connected to a timer such as the ADA Control Timer, available separately.

The ADA El-Valve is closed without current and then reliably cuts off the CO2 supply to the aquarium. The solenoid valve from Aqua Design Amano is suitable as a night shut-off for all CO2 fertilization systems for aquariums operated with compressed gas.

Because the aquarium plants cannot use carbon dioxide at night, it makes sense to cut off the CO2 supply overnight - on the one hand, this saves valuable CO2, and on the other hand, it prevents dangerous amounts of carbon dioxide from building up in the aquarium, which would then cause problems for the inhabitants in the tank.

Ideally, the ADA EL-Valve solenoid valve is linked to the light control so that the CO2 supply starts as soon as the light comes on and is stopped again when the light goes off.

The ADA El-Valve comes with a current transformer and adapter to make it suitable for our power supply. A spiral cable provides the power supply. It can be extended up to 60 cm. Please store it protected from moisture and make sure that no splash water can reach the solenoid valve.

Important: When assembling, make sure that the flow direction of the solenoid valve ADA El-Valve is correct. The hose coming from the CO2 pressure reducer must be connected to the IN connection, the pressure hose leading to the aquarium to the OUT connection. Assembly is very simple because the ADA El-Valve is equipped with quick connectors. A separately available return valve protects the ADA El-Valve solenoid valve from creeping water from the aquarium in the CO2 hose.

The reliable, compact and lightweight ADA El-Valve solenoid valve is hum-free, suitable for continuous operation and has a very low power consumption.
