ADA - CO2 Pollen Glass Diffuser

The high-quality glass diffuser for CO2 from Aqua Design Amano, the classic handmade ADA Pollen Glass, serves as an atomizer for CO2 coming from the pressurized gas system. The ADA Pollen Glass provides the finest carbon dioxide bubbles that dance in the water and act like flower pollen.

The ADA Pollen Glass is designed for aquariums with a volume of 60 liters. It has a nub for the enclosed transparent suction cup. Important when removing: Always pull on the suction cup, not on the glass.

The simple and elegant shape of the ADA Pollen Glass looks noble in the aquascape and does not distract from the layout. Thanks to the high-quality Japanese crystal glass, this CO2 diffuser is almost invisible in the aquarium. The membrane for CO2 atomization is inconspicuously white and consists of highly porous "powder glass" for particularly fine CO2 beads in the aquarium, from which the CO2, which serves as an important plant nutrient for the aquarium plants in the aquascape, dissolves particularly well in the aquarium water.

The ADA Pollen Glass has a glass connection for a silicone hose that transports the CO2. This hose is not CO2 tight and should therefore only be selected as long as absolutely necessary. The ADA Pollen Glass is not suitable for a rigid CO2 hose, as this would only cause glass breakage.

For a tight fit, the nozzle of the ADA Pollen Glass is slightly larger than the hose diameter. The softer silicone tube is dipped with the end briefly in hot water for a secure installation, so that it becomes even more pliable and flexible. The nozzle on the ADA Pollen Glass is rubbed with a mixture of dishwashing liquid and water, which makes the tubing more slippery.

The ADA Pollen Glass should only be operated in conjunction with the ADA CO2 Bubble Counter or with the ADA CO2 Beetle Counter, with which the number of bubbles can be precisely controlled and adjusted. For the beginning we recommend an amount of one bubble of CO2 per second for a 60 liter aquarium.
