In the aquarium, this important job is done by the aquarium filter. Optimal maintenance and servicing of the filter is one of the most important factors for a good biological balance.

With our value pack 2 x Microfilter and 2 x Fleece you can replace the filter media of your Tetra Tex Ex 600/700 or Tetra Tec Ex 1200 in no time at all. The fine fleece retains the smallest dirt particles and suspended matter, helping to make the water sparklingly clear. With our Natureholic Crusta Bacter Liquid, you can already inoculate the fleece with beneficial bacteria when placing it in the filter.

Microorganisms also settle on the filter media and contribute to the breakdown of pollutants. Check the filter fleece regularly and replace it as soon as you notice a reduced water flow. We do not recommend washing out the microfilters, as they become matted during washing and no longer provide accurate filtration. Also, never change all the filter media at once, but one at a time, otherwise too many of the beneficial bacteria will be lost.
