The smaller Nano Sea Almond Tree Leaves with 8-8.5 cm length fit well in Nano aquariums. Sea almond leaves have long been used in aquaristics for their pH-lowering effect and high tannin content. They have an inhibiting effect on fungi and bacteria and can be used to support infections or as a preventative. In addition, sea almond leaves are a great food supplement for shrimps, crayfish, snails and crabs and they are also a very natural looking aquarium decoration. Biofilms form on the leaves, which are readily eaten, and after a while the leaf tissue itself is also nibbled.

Sea almond leaves give the water a beautiful amber tone, but the water remains crystal clear and does not become cloudy.

Use:
1 leaf per 15-25 liters of aquarium contents is placed directly into the aquarium. Initially, the leaves float on the water surface, but they sink after a few days. After about 2 weeks, the leaf no longer gives off tannins, then you should add a new leaf. The old leaf can be left in the aquarium, it will be eaten with time. In larger aquariums it is also possible to add the leaves at different times, so that there are always fresh and older leaves in the tank.
